First off, the location is convenient, just a short stroll from the ADO bus terminal and the vibrant tourist center. While it's close to local bars and restaurants, prepare for a longer walk to the more serene beaches. The staff did their best to assist, especially when we had an unfortunate hiccup with our reservation. We originally booked two single beds but ended up in a double. Not ideal, but they were friendly in helping us adjust. This left us scrambling for accommodation, a situation I wouldn't wish on anyone. While Brisas has some amenities like air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, weigh these against possible risks in your decision.
